In this paper we will highlight three impacts of the theory of evolution in the field of Ethics. Considering the emergency context of a new perspective in the area, from the crisis in the anthropocentric imaginary (which occurs since the middle and end of the twentieth century), we can delimit some aspects. In the first place, the theory of evolution disarticulated the idea of a hierarchical position of man in the world. Secondly, it implied new scientific bases to account for the evolutionary continuity between human and non-human animals. Thirdly, it implied rethinking the body and corporeality from the framework of an evolutionary history, and giving a natural historicity to moral behavior, with which the idea of the origin of morality and ethics was discarded as something spontaneous and only proper to the human being. These three impacts generated a radical change in the way of thinking about the human-animal-nature link, as it was traditionally understood. So, my communication is not intended to be exhaustive, but to put into consideration a series of current guidelines in the field of Ethics, their potentialities and difficulties.
