Luchar, crear, guerra revolucionaria: aproximaciones al problema de la estrategia político-militar en el periodo prerrevolucionario del Movimiento de Izquierda Revolucionaria, MIR de Chile (1970-1973)

Abstract

El 15 de agosto de 1965 se funda el Movimiento de Izquierda Revolucionaria (MIR) de Chile, organización iniciadora en el diseño e implementación de una estrategia para la toma del poder y la revolución socialista. Este trabajo busca hacer una descripción del diseño (realizado durante y con posterioridad al III Congreso del MIR de 1967) e implementación (a partir del triunfo electoral de Salvador Allende en 1970) de la estrategia político-militar llamada Guerra Revolucionaria durante el Periodo Prerrevolucionario (caracterización realizada por el MIR) que se extiende durante todo el gobierno del Presidente Salvador Allende (1970-1973). Junto a lo anterior, pretendemos describir la táctica del MIR para el período, llamada Acciones Directas de Masas, en particular en el Campamento 26 de enero, el cuál será el iniciador de una serie de tomas de terrenos en los que se intenta crear gérmenes de Poder Popular y las estructuras de autodefensa de masas conocidas como Milicias Populares. Para cumplir nuestro objetivo, utilizaremos bibliografía específica, junto a documentos internos y públicos del MIR y entrevistas a militantes del MIR y pobladores del Campamento 26 de enero.

The August 15, 1965, the Movement of the Revolutionary Left (MIR) of Chile was founded, an initiating organization in the design and implementation of a strategy for the seizure of power and the socialist revolution. This paper seeks to describe the design (made during and after the III Congress of the MIR 1967) and implementation (from the electoral triumph of Salvador Allende in 1970) of the political-military strategy called Revolutionary War during the Prerevolutionary Period (Characterization made by the MIR) that extends throughout the government of President Salvador Allende (1970-1973). Along with the above, we intend to describe the MIR tactics for the period, called Direct Mass Actions, in particular at Camp 26 of January, which will be the initiator of a series of landings in which attempts are made to create germs of Popular Power and mass self-defense structures known as Popular Militias. To fulfill our objective, we will use specific bibliography, along with internal and public documents of the MIR and interviews with militants of the MIR and settlers of Camp 26 of January.
