Encrucijadas de la abuelidad en las nuevas organizaciones familiares

Abstract

El presente trabajo se enmarca en la investigación “Función de abuelidad y transmisión intergeneracional en las configuraciones familiares actuales”, Facultad de Psicología. UNLP” que ya fuera presentada en el congreso pasado. Transcurrido un año, nos interesa transmitir y compartir algunas reflexiones obtenidas a partir del trabajo de campo realizado por el equipo. Como decíamos en aquella oportunidad, nuestro planteo parte de considerar la encrucijada para la abuelidad; teniendo en cuenta los esfuerzos que realizan los sujetos envejescentes para inscribir las novedades ante la necesidad de encontrar enunciados identitarios, de referencia generacional y sostenerse en su función de transmisión ante las formas inéditas con que este nuevo tiempo social y vincular los interroga. En el plano vincular, y en el marco de las configuraciones actuales de la familia, al persistir antiguas representaciones y expectativas, junto a otras más novedosas, yuxtaposición, simultaneidad, contradicción y creación de referencias inéditas en los modelos tanto de su organización como de su funcionamiento, refuerza el impacto de novedad en el propio proceso de significar la abuelidad y conjuntamente con ello, las preguntas referidas al tiempo subjetivo y la sucesión generacional.

The present work is part of the research “Function of grandparents and intergenerational transmission in the current family configurations”, Faculty of Psychology, UNLP, which was already presented at the last congress. After a year, we are interested in transmitting and sharing some reflections obtained from the field work done by the team. As we said on that occasion, our approach is part of considering the crossroads for the abuelidad; Taking into account the efforts made by aging subjects to inscribe the novelties in the face of the need to find identity statements, of generational reference and to maintain their role of transmission in the unprecedented ways in which this new social time and linking them interrogates. In the context of the current configuration of the family, in the context of old representations and expectations, together with new ones, juxtaposition, simultaneity, contradiction and the creation of unprecedented references in the models of both their organization and their functioning, reinforces the impact of novelty in the very process of signifying the grandparenthood and together with it, the questions referred to the subjective time and the generational succession.
