El género <i>Calycoceras</i> Hyatt (Ammonitina, Cretácico superior) en Patagonia austral

Abstract

Calycoceras Hyatt is reported for the first time from Southern Patagoma. The probably new species was previously assigned to Eupachydiscus Spath. The age uf the lower part of “Las Hayas Formation” is therefore Cenomanian-Lower Turonian. and not Upper Santonian-Camponían, thus agreeing with geotogical information.
