El trabajo en la infancia

Abstract

El trabajo se presenta en el marco de la convocatoria a becas de entrenamiento de la Comisión de Investigaciones Científicas (CIC) 2020. A su vez, el problema objeto del presente estudio se enmarca en el proyecto de investigación titulado “Entramados de con-vivencias y aprendizajes estratégicos. Inclusión educativa de sujetos de derechos en contextos atravesados por desigualdades sociales”, dirigido por la magíster Cristina Erausquin y a realizarse en los años 2020-2021. Pensar la problemática del trabajo en la infancia nos abre un campo de problemas en torno a los efectos que tiene el mundo laboral en las trayectorias educativas de los niños, niñas y adolescentes de la cuidad de La Plata. En este sentido la pregunta rectora que guía este proyecto remite a intentar visualizar, poder conocer y analizar la incidencia que tiene en la subjetividad ingresar al mundo laboral precozmente y, a la vez, conocer qué representaciones tienen los otros del niño que trabaja. ¿Qué relaciones existen entre el trabajo infantil y la no escolaridad? ¿Qué significaciones se le otorgan a niños/adolescentes sometidos al campo laboral? ¿Qué efectos tiene el trabajo de los niños/adolescentes en el aprendizaje? ¿Cuáles son las condiciones de permanencia y egreso del sistema escolar para un niño que trabaja? ¿A qué obedecen? ¿Cómo actúan? En un orden más estructural, se plantean las siguientes preguntas: ¿Cómo se da la relación entre trabajo en la infancia y salud? ¿Qué contextos socioculturales se ponen en juego? En definitiva, ¿cuáles son los modos de subjetivación de estos niños a la hora de ingresar al mundo del trabajo? ¿Qué referentes, ideales, se juegan allí?

This work is presented in the framework of the call for training scholarships by the Commission of Scientific Research (CIC for its initials in Spanish) 2020. At the same time, the problem that constitutes the object of this study is framed in the research project entitled “Frameworks of co-existence and strategic learning. Educational inclusion of subjects of rights in contexts crossed by social inequalities”, project directed by the Mg. Cristina Erausquin and that will take place during the years 2020-2021.Thinking about the problem of work in childhood opens a field of problems around the effects that the labor world has on the educational paths of children and adolescents in the city of La Plata. In this sense, the guiding question for this project refers to trying to visualize, to be able to know and analyze the impact that it has on subjectivity to enter the labor world early, as well as to representations of the child who works by the others. What relations exist between child labor and non-schooling? What meanings are attributed to children/adolescents in the labor field? What effects does child/adolescent work have on learning? What are the conditions of permanence and discharge of the school system for a working child? What are their causes? How do they act? In a more structural order, there arises the following questions: How is the relation between work in childhood and health? What socio-cultural contexts are at stake? In short, what are the modes of subjectivation of these children when entering the world of work? What referents or ideals are involved there?
