Problemas en torno a las nociones de «restricción» y «contexto» en los modelos post-piagetianos del desarrollo del conocimiento

Abstract

Se realiza una revisión conceptual de los postulados post-piagetianos de la Escuela de Ginebra acerca de las relaciones entre lo psicológico y lo social, distinguiendo tres generaciones de investigaciones, durante las décadas de 1980, 1990 y 2000 (Psaltis, Duveen & Perret-Clermont, 2009). En la primera generación, el acento recae en la contextualización de las acciones del sujeto. A través de la noción de conflicto sociocognitivo se pretende superar la dicotomía clásica coerción-cooperación. La segunda generación subraya la historia institucional que sporta el objeto y se pasa de una caracterización de las interacciones en términos de mediación (sujeto 1-objeto-sujeto2) a una que enfatiza la dimensión comunicativa y sistémica de las expectativas cruzadas. La tercera generación expande la contextualización al considerar el conjunto amplio de las representaciones sociales que modulan el campo de las interacciones sujeto-objeto. Estas investigaciones persiguieron, en sus diferentes formulaciones, la caracterización de un sujeto epistémico situado en una trama de acciones sociales. Siguiendo este ordenamiento, se plantean dos problemas teóricos actuales que definen líneas de investigaciones futuras: 1) en estos modelos, ¿cuál es el estatuto teórico de las restricciones en la génesis de conocimientos?; 2) ¿qué se entiende por contexto en un modelo triangular, de restricciones dialécticas sujeto-objeto-otros?

We develop a conceptual revision of post-Piagetian theses in the School of Geneva, regarding the relations between the social and the psychological, distinguishing three generations of studies, during the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s (Psaltis, Duveen & Perret-Clermont, 2009). During the first generation, the focus is set on the contextualization of the subject’s actions. Using the notion of sociocognitive conflict, there is an attempt to overcome the classical dichotomy constraints-cooperation. The second generation of studies focuses on the institutional history supporting the object is outlines and there is a shift in the characterization of interactions in terms of mediation (subject1-object-subject2) to en emphasis on the communicative and systemic dimension of crossed expectations. The third generation expands contextualization by considering the wider set of social representations modulating the field of subject-object interactions. These studies searched, in their different assertions, to characterize the epistemic subject in a net of social actions. Following this line, we present two current theoretical defining future research lines: 1) in these models, what is the theoretical statute of restrictions in knowledge genesis?; 2) what idea of context operates in a triangular model, considering subject-object-others dialectical restrictions?
