Abstract

Salama and Quade (1981) proposed a family of nonparametric tests based on a method of weighted within—block, rankings, for testing the hypothesis of no treatment effects against a postulated ranking of the treatments in a complete randomized blocks layout. These tests and others are compared with respect to asymptotic efficiency.
