Envolvente acústica de las viviendas en edificios en altura: un estudio en San Miguel de Tucumán

Abstract

El estudio examina el confort acústico en viviendas de altura en San Miguel de Tucumán, destacando la importancia del control de ruidos urbanos en la calidad de vida. La investigación se centra en tres edificios de tipo monoambiente, utilizando metodologías cualitativas y cuantitativas para medir la contaminación sonora y el aislamiento acústico. Se realizaron mediciones de ruido exterior e interior, y encuestas a los residentes para evaluar la percepción del confort acústico. Los resultados muestran niveles de ruido superiores a los recomendados por la OMS, indicando la necesidad de mejorar el diseño y aislamiento acústico en estas construcciones para asegurar el bienestar de los habitantes.

The study examines acoustic comfort in high-rise residences in San Miguel de Tucumán, highlighting the importance of urban noise control for quality of life. The research focuses on three studio-type buildings, using qualitative and quantitative methodologies to measure noise pollution and acoustic insulation. Exterior and interior noise measurements were taken, along with surveys of residents to assess their perception of acoustic comfort. The results show noise levels exceeding those recommended by the WHO, indicating the need to improve design and acoustic insulation in these buildings to ensure the well-being of the inhabitants.
