Abstract

El documento buscará analizar los argumentos detrás de la prohibición de las carreras de perros en Argentina frente a la continuidad de las carreras de caballos; abordando cómo fue receptada la Ley Nro. 27.330 de Prohibición de carreras de perros que sirvió como impulso al proyecto de Ley para la prohibición de las carreras de caballos. A su vez, se detallarán las condiciones de explotación sistemática hacia estas especies, incluyendo las condiciones en las que viven, los entrenamientos a los que son sometidos, el maltrato y el abandono. Se abordará de las formas en los intereses están por encima de una vida digna para estos animales.
