Análisis reflexivo y perspectiva etnográfica sobre procesos de transición agroecológica en el Cinturón Hortícola Platense

Abstract

En esta contribución analizamos los aportes de la perspectiva etnográfica al estudio de procesos de transición agroecológica y cómo puede producir transformaciones en los mismos investigadores. Para ello realizamos trabajo de campo etnográfico en dos experiencias agroecológicas del Cinturón Hortícola Platense (Bs.As., Argentina) y retomamos la propuesta de reflexividad que implica la objetivación del sujeto analizante. Observamos que realizar prácticas agroecológicas constituye un proceso complejo, donde el rol de Universidades y organizaciones resultó central. Asimismo, el trabajo en el territorio implicó involucrarnos de maneras inesperadas y transformar nuestros preconceptos, en diálogo con las expectativas de los actores. Concluimos que la perspectiva etnográfica constituye una herramienta relevante para comprender en profundidad cómo son llevados a cabo los procesos de transición agroecológica y así poder recabar debilidades y fortalezas en pos de colaborar en su realización.

In this work it is analyzed the contributions of the ethnographic perspective to the study of agroecological transition processes and how this perspective can produce transformations in the researchers themselves. For this purpose, ethnographic fieldwork has been done in two agroecological projects in the Platense Horticultural Belt (Bs.As., Argentina), and it has been adopted reflexivity which implies the objectification of the analyzing subject. It is observed that the realization of agroecological practices constitutes a complex process, where the role of Universities and organizations was central. Moreover, the work in the territory implied getting involved in unexpected ways and transforming our preconceptions, in dialogue with the expectations of the actors. It is concluded that the ethnographic perspective constitutes a relevant approach to understand how agroecological transition processes are implemented and be able to gather weaknesses and strengths to collaborate in their realization.
