Educación Física, desaparecidos y dictadura cívico militar 1976-1983

Abstract

Este artículo recupera y articula relatos sobre estudiantes y docentes del Profesorado Universitario de Educación Física de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (PUEF-UNLP) detenidxs-desaparecidxs durante la última dictadura cívico-militar en Argentina (1976-1983), en el marco de una reflexión más amplia sobre la función política y simbólica de la Educación Física en ese contexto. A partir de fuentes testimoniales, documentos institucionales y bibliografía específica, se analizan las formas de disciplinamiento, persecución ideológica y construcción de memorias que atravesaron este campo disciplinar. El trabajo propone un enfoque que vincula pedagogía, derechos humanos e historia reciente, reivindicando una Educación Física crítica, democrática y comprometida con la memoria, la verdad y la justicia.

This article recovers and articulates accounts of students and teachers from the University Physical Education Teacher Training College of the National University of La Plata (PUEF-UNLP) who were detained-disappeared during the last civic-military dictatorship in Argentina (1976-1983), within the framework of a broader reflection on the political and symbolic function of Physical Education in that context. Based on testimonial sources, institutional documents, and specific bibliography, the forms of disciplining, ideological persecution, and construction of memories that permeated this disciplinary field are analyzed. The work proposes an approach that links pedagogy, human rights, and recent history, advocating for a critical, democratic Physical Education committed to memory, truth, and justice.
