dc.description.abstract The struggle to define Islam’s destiny has begun. Islam as a religion is part of more than a billion people’s lives in every nation of the world. Islamic history, spanning fourteen centuries, has given the world a multiplicity of cultures, languages, and peoples contributing to every major human endeavor from philosophy to anatomy. However, Islam is undergoing a major revolution in which Muslims must ask themselves what part of their multifaceted history will define the future.
