Workshop: ¿Y su repositorio institucional está certificado?

Abstract

Este taller versa sobre la calidad de los repositorios y su certificación. Está dividido en cinco partes. Las dos primeras hacen un recorrido sobre cómo se construyen repositorios confiables desde los inicios de la implementación y también cómo mejorarlos cuando están implementados. Se recorren los toolkits, directrices y normativas más utilizadas atendiendo las recomendaciones de COAR, OpenAire y las normativas tales como ISO 14721. También se comentan estándares como DINI, Nestor, TRAC y la ISO 16363. Se busca con las dos primeras presentaciones lograr que el participante pueda en la tercera parte hacer una propuesta sobre los aspectos que considera importantes para auditar y mejorar en un repositorio institucional. La parte 4 muestra una propuesta y recepciona las propuestas generadas por los participantes y la última parte, la 5, plantea a los asistentes el desafío de armar una norma en un juego. Se presentan distintas pirámides con textos relativos a la Norma ISO 16363 y el participante en el juego debe completar un texto donde sugiere qué aspecto del repositorio atienden los textos que están en los distintos escalones de la pirámide.

This workshop is about the quality of the repositories and their certification. It is divided into five parts. The first two take a tour of how reliable repositories are built from the beginning of the implementation and also how to improve them when they are implemented. The most commonly used toolkits, guidelines and regulations are covered according to the recommendations of COAR, OpenAire and regulations such as ISO 14721. Standards such as DINI, Nestor, TRAC and ISO 16363 are also discussed. The first two presentations are sought to ensure that the Participant may in the third part make a proposal about the aspects that he considers important to audit and improve in an institutional repository. Part 4 shows a proposal and receives the proposals generated by the participants and the last part, 5, poses to the attendees the challenge of putting together a standard in a game. Different pyramids are presented with texts related to ISO 16363 and the participant in the game must complete a text that suggests what aspect of the repository the texts that are in the different steps of the pyramid meet.
