Elizabeth Blackwell: botanical illustration and art history
Armiliar; no. 6
The work of women in the world of arts and sciences has been a subject little addressed by research in these fields. This work proposes a theoretical conjunction between the intellectual production of Georges Didi-Huberman and Jacques Rancière regarding their thoughts on the relationship between image, representation and history. Via an analysis of their contributions, we hope to clarify the position shared between these authors regarding the criticism of the culture of the unrepresentable. To do so, we demonstrate that the unimaginable is not located in the field of that which is impossible to represent, but of a tearing opening that touches us and offers us a displacement of limits.

The present work aims to delve into the term style and the concepts adjacent to it, based on the reading of Fundamental Concepts of Art History [1915] (1952) by Heinrich Wölfflin and Style [1953] (1962) by Meyer Schapiro. Four Ways to Edit a Monument
Armiliar; no. 6
This article presents a possible typology of non-periodical printed publications whose aim is to construct a representation of material cultural artifacts of memory socially articulated under the common name of monuments. To this end, publications are considered where the attribution of permanence and the inscription in the public sphere that characterize the social life of the monument interact with the meanings given to the book and the printed letter.
