Starting out from the definition of enterprise as a material object (recurring to De Leon, Garau Riu, Coase) the author tries to draw away through historical elaboration, the specific object of enterprise economy as distinguished from that of political economy. He also tries to delimit the areas of preoccupation concerning the enterprise; thus equipped, the purpose of the book is to bring into a unit the significant items of the subject. This goal being attained he now pays attention to the specific problems and the required instruments for their solution. This book hints at revising the setting in which enterprise economy is placed, and at the revision of the interdisciplinary relations. Identifying the contents of the principal works on the subject (Gutenberg, Colbert, Bradford-Alt, Dean y Fernandez Piria) the author finds out that the so-called administrative sciences lack a unifying bond, constituting therefore interstitial sciences and techniques which specialize on particulars of enterprise economy. His conclusion is that the subject is of most recent data. The subject has a well definable formal object, and it forms part of the political theory with a basis which explains the events in the general theory. This subject only exists on account of the instrumental whole provided to it by the so-called operating investigation.

This work is a synthesis of the model or method of analysis viewed according to the new contributions which have appeared since Leontief's original publication. The author emphasizes the difference between the table and the model itself of input-output, the two integrating parts of the model. Regarding the former, he points out its definitions and characteristics, the duality of its contents, the relation of its results with the concept of gross national product and some special problems concerning its construction. Referring to the model itself he explains its operational mechanism and its solution through the matrix theory.

When they discovered the role that technical and scientific investigation (R S T) can play in their economic development, a great number of nations realized that they could not multiply their efforts in every direction, therefore they decided to plan their investigations. The author wants to show above all, that semi-industrialized countries cannot leave the monopoly of the R S T to fully industrialized countries only. Such a choice his on the nature, considered indispensable, of the technical advancements; on the differences of natural and human faculties from one continent to another; on the specific role of the R S T in connection with learning and industry. An R S T effort is not thought of but planned. When some of the difficulties found in this way are fully analysed, the author sketches the prospects and principal lines of a method to evaluate the technical advances economically and to choose an investigation program.

The aim of this work is to define a "model of decision" with to the integration of risk units. The model lies on the definition of risk unit as the result of the economic effects of inauspiciousness and the probability of failure starting from an economic basis previously determined. Through the determination of the functions of integration and its qualities, a conclusion is come to. This conclusion is that in very general assumptions the integration is always convenient. The final part of the work refers to the imputation of advantages of integration through the logic of "strategy interplay" by virtue of the isomorphism that relates the functions of integration to the functions of the characteristics of the interplay.
