Este breve análisis a partir de ciertos artículos de la prensa como otros documentos e imágenes busca realizar un aporte historiográfico, tanto para la obra señalada como para la cronología de los acontecimientos acaecidos hace cien años.; One year after his return to the country, and in line with the controversial history of the Witcomb gallery, Emilio Pettoruti participated in the First Salon of Artists from La Plata in 1925 with three works, including a nude. The reproduction of this image in the La Plata media generated a conservative reaction from representatives of the Church. Did the artist know the effect that this nude would achieve? Was it a new strategy for the Argentine painter, accustomed to the futurist scandal and the echo of his first exhibition in Argentina? Or was it an isolated case of conservative stupor within the La Plata community? This brief analysis, based on certain press articles, other documents, and images, seeks to make a historiographical contribution, both to the work in question and to the chronology of the events that occurred one hundred years ago.

A Critique of the Notion of «Visual Culture» in the Digital Age
Armiliar; no. 9
With the advent of digital technology permeating every dimension of our existence, visuality acquires special relevance. In a sense, the «content» of the image becomes digital. The question I propose here is this: when it comes to the hegemonic regime of digital technology in everyday life, what is the nature of the relationship between images and the content they represent? Do images relate to our experience, or do they originate from the interface? If digital technology not only serves as a medium for the information that we receive about the world, but also produces a computerization of reality, is the horizon of meaning inherent in the notion of culture thus compromised?

In March 2023, the First Workshop on Art, Gender, and Diversities: Exchanges for New Research was held. In recent years, there has been a growing body of research aimed at recovering the past work of women and queers, but also at questioning the discipline’s categories and methods. Aimed to provide a workspace for researchers interested in critical re-readings of Art History, particularly those related to the fields of feminism and queer studies, the workshop fostered exchange between researchers of different national and international universities.

In March 2023, the First Workshop on Art, Gender, and Diversities: Exchanges for New Research was held. In recent years, there has been a growing body of research aimed at recovering the past work of women and queers, but also at questioning the discipline’s categories and methods. Aimed to provide a workspace for researchers interested in critical re-readings of Art History, particularly those related to the fields of feminism and queer studies, the workshop fostered exchange between researchers of different national and international universities.</dc:description>

These decisions raise a series of questions regarding the roles assigned in the curatorial narratives of this period to these pieces, their interweaving with original works, as well as the theoretical foundation underlying the projects to incorporate them into the collection.

In the context of 19th-century landscape painting in Colombia, the absence of a robust history is noted due to the scarcity of significant works in this genre. The Itinerant Museum of the Province: A pioneering project for the democratization of art
Armiliar; no. 7
La recuperación del Vagón de Arte busca ofrecer una perspectiva histórica sobre las estrategias del museo para difundir su patrimonio más allá de sus límites, rescatando la importancia y originalidad de este proyecto pionero.; The facsimile edition of "Vagón de Arte: ver, oír, leer" [1949] (2022) by Ediciones Buenos Aires tells the story of an avant-garde project that emerged at the Provincial Museum of Fine Arts during the administration of Emilio Pettoruti in 1930 and carried out later during the first peronism. In 1949, with the purpose of decentralizing art and highlighting its educational function, an itinerant museum was created to tour the province of Buenos Aires, taking with it various artistic expressions. The recovery of the Art Car seeks to offer a historical perspective on the museum’s strategies to disseminate its heritage beyond its limits, rescuing the importance and originality of this pioneering project.
