For the examination of the Argentine reality –published in Mexico between 1979 and 1981 for a group of Argentine exiles with political paths in the left side Peronist or Marxist– an early and minority analysis of the defeat, an offer to transform the condition to exile in situation of excepcionalidad for the intellectual production, an experiment anticipatorio of the political vocabulary that will be hegemonic in the eighties. The labor of this investigation overcomes the retrospective exercise, as reaffirmation of our linguistic sovereignty remembering a forgotten language, to revive that one that the time had cancelled and to throw it to the sand of the transformation sociosimbólica of our present.

The Dictionary of the Latin-American Cinema.
Articulo

The article approaches some of the reflections arisen depending on a theoretical perspective that looks at the field of communication/education from some –always unstable and precarious– consensuses that the cultural studies have settled in the communication investigations. We will present –from departing from the first approximations– the way in which a material specific field is articulated by the questions arisen from a particular way of understanding the territory of communication/education. The study places in public schools of the city of La Plata (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and seeks to understand the problematic emergent ones from the implementation of public policies that involve postulates of educational incorporation.

In the reflexive mapeo that proposes this article, we take again diverse problematic linked to the studies of the language and to the communication/education, with his own inherent debates and as sand of disputes for the sense in the saberes and in the practices of communication Latin-American and Argentine. The following article is an invitation to know the thinking of a leader in the field of communication for social change.

Articulo
Oficios Terrestres; no. 30
It will leave the question of De Certeau on how evidence the silence of the «dominated» without exercising violence complaint and therefore reproduce, searching account of the discussion with Ginzburg regarding the theoretical implications, epistemological and policies that pose. Finally, some conclusions are drawn about the issue of diversion and resistances in research in communication and culture, are paying particular attention to the problem of the relationship between class and culture worked for Claude Grignon and Jean-Claude Passeron.

Veinte años más tarde, asistimos a un proceso de reapertura de esas agendas y de reaparición de categorías y de sujetos desplazados: el nuevo éxito político de los relatos nacional-populares hablan más de continuidades y de retornos, antes que de disoluciones y de clausuras.; One speaks about return of the suppressed –the expelled thing, the forced, the missing thing– or about the silenced: the study of the popular Latin-American cultures was an object of this operation of displacement, contemporary to the neoliberal decade that the pauperización consolidated, the fragmentation and the social exclusion in our continent. Luck of corollary of this movement was the expulsion of the popular cultures of the agendas of investigation, diluted in categories that they were claiming more suitable and suitable for the analysis in times of transformation. Twenty years later, we are present at a process of reopening of these agendas and of reappearance of categories and of displaced subjects: the new political success of the national-popular statements they speak more of continuities and of returns, before that of dissolutions and of closing.

The mass media are approached as political actors in whom to read the fights for the sense of the processes of justice for the crimes committed during the last civic-military dictatorship. The regional current context, in which the politics has been revitalized as option of transformation, there calls to constructing us an academic alternative model the hegemonic one. For Sergio Caletti Héctor Schmucler’s article “Towards a project of comunicación/culture”, published in 1984 in the magazine Communication and culture, was a point of fail for the incipient formation of the field of communication.

En ese debate se complejiza su teoría de la articulación que luego dará lugar a su recuperación y a su retematización del populismo.; Ernesto Laclau is discussed in the nineties as a theoretical critic to the neoliberalism and as an author who values the fights of the social movements opposite to the neoconservadurismo of left side and of right.

This text constitutes an approximation to the thought of the philosopher and communicator Jesus Martin Barbero from two coordinates. First the geographical one, this is, to think from Latin America as territory politician and temporarily (the Latin America of the dictatorships, but also of the hope), which forms his thought. The way like brings near to the popular thing is constituted from this place where it decides to think. In the second moment, the article is busy with exploring another coordinate: the one that links itself to the disciplinary place of statement, this is the academy, and to two fields, the communication and the philosophy. Hereby, the work passes along the thin and frontier ways that are constituted when the communication and the culture is thought in a critical way.

Triunfo y derrota de un proyecto

Articulo
Oficios Terrestres; vol. 1, no. 30
In «Victory and defeat of the communication » (2008) Héctor Schmucler was fitting you count with communication/ culture develops of the field and one was asking how much it is of specifically Latin-American in the conceptual approximations that devoted themselves in to know of communication and culture. In this article, the question is what supposes today a project of communication/ culture and three possible problematic axes sign: first, that the instrumental conception of the means has not been overcome in the practice; secondly, that the “effects” of the cultural relativism acquire new masks; finally, that the ideological analysis of the means acquires new functions in this stage.
