<description>Comunicacion
Cuadernos de Herpetología; vol. 7, no. 6
Histopathological changes in the gut of the lizard T. rufescens due to the parasitic worm D. galeatus are described here. Superficial damage of the mucosae due to mechanical action of bucal capsule, without involving deeper layers; their implication in the metabolism and immunity of the host.

<link>http://sedici.unlp.edu.ar:80/handle/10915/6224</link>
<description>Articulo
Cuadernos de Herpetología; vol. 7, no. 4
Scanning electron microscopy shows that the buccal apparatus of Hyla pulchella pulchella larvae has a well developed and queratinized horny beack with teeth with a main cuspid. Rostrodont with heterodiontial size. Multicusped labial teeth with 10 to 12 (Mo=10) denticles in each paddle; paddle with a short neck, slightly marked. Tipic dental formulae 1,1-1/1-1,2 and 1,1-1/3 have heen observed at any of the development stages with functional teeth. Oval disc with a row of marginal papilae, and a dorsal gap. Submarginal papilae are absent. Queratodonts morfological variations might go on increasing as they make older.

<link>http://sedici.unlp.edu.ar:80/handle/10915/6223</link>
<description>Articulo
Cuadernos de Herpetología; vol. 7, no. 3

<link>http://sedici.unlp.edu.ar:80/handle/10915/6222</link>
<description>Articulo
Cuadernos de Herpetología; vol. 7, no. 2
The stomachs of 109 parthenogenetic lizards of the genus Teius of the Valley of Punilla, Córdoba, Argentina, were analized to evaluate the composition and seasonal variation during the summers of 1988-1989 and 1989-1990. After the analysis, diet categories were established and frequency, volumen and the number of items consumed. The IR., Relative Index of Importance was used and the Termites, Beetles, Larvae, and Grasshoppers were the principal components of the diet.

<link>http://sedici.unlp.edu.ar:80/handle/10915/6221</link>
<description>Articulo
Cuadernos de Herpetología; vol. 7, no. 1
The study of the labial teeth row distribution of 142 Ololygon fuscovaria larvae showed that it can be found two dental formulae a: 1,1-1/1-1.2 and b: 1,1-1/3. The P-1 row could have variations on b distribution, but they do not modify the formula that the tadpole gots during the premetamorphosis stages.
