<title>Book review: "Total urban mobilisation: Ernst Jünger and the Post-Capitalist City" by Krzysztof Nawratek</title>
<link>http://sedici.unlp.edu.ar:80/handle/10915/97865</link>
<description>Revision
Estudios del Hábitat; vol. 17, no. 2
Total urban mobilization seeks meaning and reasons for the probability of post capitalist city in future. Krzysztof Nawratek discusses the forest rebel concept of Junger to define its actors and agencies for the next challenging world. Historically, Western cities are ethical followers of Rome in many ways; where the idea of emperor always influential. His existence is implicit at the same time his presence evident om the series of voids between diverse social institutions, as Badiou described. Previously, scholars like Kevin Lynch identified district, territory or edge om experienced based ‘place making’ which is similar to Cartesian ‘neutral or tool based’ space creation. He brought the Chinese concept of ‘All under heaven,’ a complex system is not referring any physical and territorial boundary of city. e author has seen these boundaries as opportunity for different agencies that might coexist and interact. Network of proper coexisting of urban agencies can trigger effective actors outside the capitalist world as a ‘hole’. From such windows, non-profit logic of neoliberalism, ambiguity and messy contextualization will emerge as an alternative, post capitalist system in future. It might turn into a worldwide complex ecosystem, a second layer in global network in post capitalist stage. is is how Language could be re-invented in contrast to the Numbers.

The urban landscape. Methodological trends in the analysis, management and territorial planning
Estudios del Hábitat; vol. 17, no. 2
At present we find a great wealth of theoretical and methodological contributions linked to landscape´s studies in Europe. In the scientific field we observe how the urban landscape has remained present, however, its presence in the definition of methodologies that address its analysis, management or territorial planning has been sporadic, without reaching its own entity. In the development of this article we propose to advance in the analysis of those most outstanding methodological trends in the study of landscape from the second half of the 20th century to the present that have contributed in some way in the management and planning of the territory. Its analysis and synthesis will allow us to demonstrate our hypothesis about the methodological inadequacies related to those urban landscapes in order to be able to advance in the development of a theoretical, conceptual and methodological framework that addresses the management and territorial planning of these landscapes from their specificity.

<title>El estilo neocolonial español en España</title>

<description>Articulo
Colonial Revival architecture style in Spain
Estudios del Hábitat; vol. 17, no. 2
But special attention is paid to its acceptance and development in Spain, which is often an extreme little studied. It shows the interest in achieving an Iberic-American social unit, even proposing the existence of a cultural "fifth race" that, as a further example of unity, would also share that intercontinental architectural style. It is remarkable the will of the architects committed to achieve it, who introduced into their projects, ornamental repertoires from different places of the Iberic-American community. It is especially called attention to the importance of the development of style, with modern architectural plants and from the Anglo-Saxon architecture, which had nothing to do with the Iberian building tradition and that gave it functionality.

<title>Habitar entornos con riesgo hídrico:vivienda colectiva y espacios productivos en el&#13;

Inhabiting environments with water risk:collective housing and productive spaces in the Maldonado Stream
Estudios del Hábitat; vol. 17, no. 2
The unplanned growth of the fringe urban areas and the conditions imposed by the territory come together in an urban and environmental conflict, in which the difficulties inherent in unresolved urban problems are exacerbated by ecological problems, in a negative synergy whose causes must be addressed. In the “Investigación Proyectual”, that is to say the research in architectural project, this context is taken as a framework for the development of architectural project explorations that address the integration between living and working in a productive environment, to configure proposals for the development of disadvantaged social groups. Urban environments with water risk are a growing problem due to population growth and climate change, and deserve a look that provides solutions to its inhabitants. An approach to the subject is presented based on proposals of intervention on a sector of the Maldonado Stream basin, in the SE conurbation of La Plata, proposing a theoretical contribution to the subject, with considerations and criticisms about them.

From mass culture to fragmented habitat. “Drawer house” and “container house” in Añelo, Neuquén Province
Estudios del Hábitat; vol. 17, no. 2
Each territory´s existing housing solutions constitute a testimony of the socio-cultural transformations of the society that built them and that continues to inhabit them. This article analyzes two types of housing that appear in Añelo since the 1970s: the "drawer house" and the "container house". For this, we conducted a bibliographic and documentary review, in-depth interviews and surveys on the site, from which graphic analyzes were developed. From this study, we propose that both typologies have evolved over the past four decades, producing variants of them, which are linked to diametrically different ways of living and that reproduce the socio-spatial fragmentation of the city in which they are located.

<title>La arquitectura como escenario doméstico: la relación entre cine y diseño en las&#13;
viviendas de Carlos E. Lenci</title>

<description>Articulo
Architecture as a domestic scenario: the relationship between cinema and design of the Carlos E. Lenci's houses
Estudios del Hábitat; vol. 17, no. 2
La predominancia del dibujo como técnica primaria de diseño arquitectónico vuelve poco habitual la difusión y enseñanza de otras estrategias de proyecto que no partan, casi exclusivamente, de una configuración gráfica básica. Pero luego del surgimiento y expansión del universo cinematográfico, la introducción de nuevas maneras de mostrar y entender el espacio promovieron nuevas vinculaciones entre arquitectura y cine. En ese marco, el interés en la producción de Lenci surge de su manera de incorporar otras disciplinas artísticas y convertirlas en estrategias de proyecto así como por una reinterpretación de la realidad que le permitió una constante búsqueda de nuevas respuestas a nuevos problemas, acorde al particular clima de época de La Plata en la década de 1960.&#13;
The predominance of drawing as a primary architectural design technique makes unusual the diffusion and teaching of project strategies that are not almost exclusively based on a basic graphic configuration. However, after the emergence and expansion of the cinematographic universe, the introduction of new ways of showing and understanding the space promoted new links between architecture and cinema. Within this new context, the interest in Lenci's production arises from his way of incorporating other artistic disciplines, which were turned into project strategies, and by reinterpreting the reality that allowed him to search for new answers to new problems that were inline with the particular climate of La Plata in the 1960s. Innovation and the creation of original resolutions that exceeded the traditional characterization of domestic spaces make Lenci's production a valuable legacy because of his works and the complexity of the design process focused on teaching.

Frank Lloyd Wright´s Argentinean Early Reception: the Case of Carlos Lange (1942-1953)
Estudios del Hábitat; vol. 17, no. 2
But unlike Le Corbusier, whose presence in Argentina has been extensively studied, Wright's reception in the country is still a pending chapter. Carlos Lange´s figure presents a good oportunity to fill that deficit. The present article has a triple goal: to search the forms, mediums and figures thorught wich was produced Wright´s early reception in Argentina; to analyze some domestic architectural proyect made by Lange in partenship with Rébora, in order to specify Lange´s place in Wright´s reception processe; to advance in Cordoba´s disciplinar field characterization in which Lange and Rebora were inserted.
