Versiones del amor en dos psicosis lacanianas: Aimée y Brigitte

Abstract

El trabajo se enmarca en el Proyecto de investigación I+D acreditado por la UNLP que lleva por título Clínica psicoanalítica de la vida amorosa en las neurosis y las psicosis. Un estudio de casos (2023-2024). El mismo se propone indagar una casuística que gira en torno a los avatares de este tipo de lazo desde la perspectiva del psicoanálisis de orientación lacaniana. En tal contexto, se aborda la lógica de las relaciones amorosas de pareja y materno-filial de dos célebres psicosis lacanianas: Aimée y Brigitte. Para ello se realiza un cruce entre la particularidad de los tipos clínicos creados por Lacan a partir de su análisis de los casos -paranoia de autopunición y enfermedad de la mentalidad, respectivamente- y la singularidad de la respuesta del sujeto. En la protagonista de la Tesis (1932), el amor retorna en lo real bajo la forma de la certeza erotómana de ser amada, en combinación con la preocupación paranoica por un potencial daño a su hijo, en un trabajo delirante que intenta metabolizar el goce pero que finalmente se revela como fallido y conduce al pasaje al acto. Esa forma del “amor muerto” implicada en el delirio (Lacan, 1956, p. 365) convive en la realidad con un vínculo de pareja que solo resulta soportable al precio de la distancia física, y un sacrificio de la relación efectiva con el hijo, que debe ser cedido al cuidado de terceros. En Brigitte, en cambio, es la inconsistencia propia de su “enfermedad de la mentalidad” (Lacan, 1976, p. 139) la que da su sello a la relación con el partenaire y con el niño, quien por no haber ocupado nunca el lugar del falo para su madre, deja vacante el lugar del vínculo amoroso. Su cuerpo, reducido a un puro trapo, no se localiza en ninguna parte, y no puede, en consecuencia, hacerse soporte de la relación con el Otro sexo y con su descendencia. Como no tiene idea alguna de sí, los significantes que podrían representarla -madre, esposa- se le escapan y ella queda flotando, como un mero vestido, en una existencia trivial sin ningún amarre.

The work is part of the R&D research project accredited by the UNLP entitled Psychoanalytic Clinic of Love Life in Neuroses and Psychoses. A case study (2023-2024). It aims to investigate a casuistry that revolves around the vicissitudes of this type of bond from the perspective of Lacanian- oriented psychoanalysis. In this context, the logic of the loving relationships of a couple and mother-child relationships of two famous Lacanian psychoses is addressed: Aimée and Brigitte. To do this, a cross-relation is made between the particularity of the clinical types created by Lacan from his analysis of the cases - self-punishment paranoia and mental illness, respectively - and the singularity of the subject’s response. In the protagonist of the Thesis (1932), love returns to reality in the form of the erotomaniac certainty of being loved, in combination with paranoid concern for potential harm to her son, in a delirious work that attempts to metabolize enjoyment, but which is finally revealed as failed and leads to the passage to act. This form of “dead love” implied in delirium (Lacan, 1956, p. 365) coexists in reality with a bond between the couple that is only bearable at the price of physical distance, and a sacrifice of the effective relationship with the child, which must be transferred to the care of third parties. In Brigitte, on the other hand, it is the inconsistency of her “mental illness” (Lacan, 1976, p. 139) that gives its seal to the relationship with the partner and with the child, who, because he has never occupied the place of the phallus for his mother, leaves vacant the place of the loving bond. His body, reduced to a pure rag, is not located anywhere, and cannot, consequently, support the relationship with the Other sex and with his descendants. Since she has no idea about herself, the signifiers that could represent her -mother, wif - escape her and she is left floating, like a mere dress, in a trivial existence without any mooring.
