Abstract

Este libro aborda la relación entre imagen y pensamiento a partir de la noción de imagomaquia, entendida como la tensión entre el discurso audiovisual hegemónico —que impone modos de ver y pensar— y las formas de contra enunciación propias del cine-ensayo, que resisten la lógica del cine-capital. Desde el macroconcepto de imagen pensamiento, el autor traza una cartografía de formas audiovisuales que configuran modos de pensamiento crítico, como la imagen-deconstrucción, la imagen-multiplicidad o la imagen-escritura, entre otras.

This book approaches the relationship between image and thought from the notion of imagomaquia, understood as the tension between the hegemonic audiovisual discourse -which imposes ways of seeing and thinking- and the forms of counter-enunciation proper to the cinema-essay, which resist the logic of cinema-capital. From the macro-concept of image-thinking, the author draws a cartography of audiovisual forms that configure modes of critical thinking, such as image-deconstruction, image-multiplicity or image-writing, among others.
