Neue Beweise über die Wechselwirkung des Vanadyl(IV)-Kations mit Nucleotiden: 31P-NMR- und IR-Messungen in Lösung

Abstract

The interaction between the VO2+ cation and a number of nucleotides has been investigated by means of 31P NM R and IR measurements in solutions. The results support and extend previous conclusions obtained from electronic spectra and confirm the central role of the phosphate groups of the nucleotides in this process. Preliminary results obtained from IR spectra of som e solid vanadyl/nucleotide compounds suggest a greater com plexity of the metal-to ligand interaction in the solid state.
