This analysis of the documentary Mina del Diablo was carried out within the framework of the virtual course in the Chair of Research Methodology in Communication (Faculty of Journalism and Social Communication, National University of La Plata, 2021).
Its main axis is to make explicit the reality that exists in Cerro Rico (Potosí, Bolivia, 2005) around child mining and the naturalized roles assigned to children in relation to work.
Likewise, it ensures that readers are shown how cultural systems and beliefs operate, and how an image is enshrined from them that allows the moral principles that regulate this place to materialize; In this way, we intend to glimpse the scaffolding of a territorially located and temporally limited context, reflecting a problem of the 2005 period on the internal organizational politics of the country, together with its progress and deficiencies.
