This work is part of the creation and opening of the University Technology in Therapeutic Accompaniment at the Headquarters of the University Center of Chivilcoy, promoted by the Faculty of Psychology of the UNLP, in order to provide comprehensive academic training for the development of the practice of the Therapeutic Accompanying (TA) and consequently its institutional categorization.
The opening of the race has been a historical event, and has been a response to a social demand that continues to grow and expand. We believe that the profile of an TA within the university framework will be qualitatively different from the profile provided by other public and private institutions that have developed their own training processes for this clinical tool as necessary as it is effective in the field of Mental Health.
The main objective of this presentation is to share the training experiences initiated with the students that represent the first generation of students within the university environment of the UNLP. And describe the initial profiles and expectations of them, presenting the challenges that were generated during the courses, and exposing those that remain in the credit.
