Los pañuelos de las Madres y Abuelas: propuesta de declaración de efeméride

Abstract

Se propone la declaración de la efeméride Día de los pañuelos de las Madres y Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo de la nación argentina y la realización de actividades educativas y artísticas durante ese día con el objetivo de preservar la memoria. En el escrito se consideran a los pañuelos como bien cultural intangible, por ser símbolo de los derechos humanos que crea un sentimiento de identidad en gran parte de la sociedad argentina. En los últimos años sucedieron diversas acciones y discursos que cuestionan tanto el reclamo de Madres y Abuelas como lo ocurrido durante la última dictadura militar, y que suponen una desvalorización de este bien.

This work proposes the declaration of the conmemoration of the day of the handkerchiefs of the Mothers and Grandmothers of May Plaza for the nation of Argentina and the carrying out of educational and artistic activities during this day with the objective of remembrance. It considers the handkerchief as intangible cultural heritage, for being a human rights symbol which creates a feeling of identity in much of the argentinian society. In the past few years several events and speeches have taken place which question the claim of Mothers and Grandmothers as well as everything that happened during the last military dictatorship, and despreciate this common good.
