The use of "nettle slurry" (PO) in crop management is an alternative that is increasingly used by family farmers in the Horticultural Belt of La Plata, Argentina. This bio-input seems to favor the growth and productivity of crops. In this work, the effect of different doses and modes of application of nettle slurry on the number and weight of tomatoes produced under a greenhouse was evaluated. The results showed significant differences for both variables in the applications with PO at 30% foliar in relation to the control and / or lower applications. Probably the PO constitutes a nitrogen supply to the plant. This study shows that OP could constitute an alternative that allows to favor the growth and productivity of crops in a more sustainable way, replacing some agrochemicals.
