In this article I propose to reconstruct the trajectory of the Peronist University Youth (JUP) at the National University of La Plata (UNLP) between the years 1973, when it was founded, and the coup d'état of 1976. The work tries to answer: Who were its militants? What influence did the JUP gain among the student body? How was your relationship with the rest of the groups? What relationship did you maintain with the rectors who succeeded you in these years? What was its impact on the conflicts of the time? To answer, I will use two types of sources. On the one hand, the newspaper El Día, which recorded university daily life like no other media in La Plata. On the other hand, the materials classified in the Archive of the Provincial Commission for Memory that protects numerous documents from police espionage, including a folder dedicated to the JUP.
