La tierra en cuestión: la concentración y la intervención estatal desde la perspectiva de los actores agrarios (Prov. de Buenos Aires, 2021)

Abstract

En la región pampeana, principal zona de producción agropecuaria del país, se observa un fuerte proceso de concentración en el uso de la tierra. El trabajo indaga en las opiniones de los sujetos agrarios de dicha región sobre la propiedad de la tierra y sobre la intervención estatal en el tema a partir de una encuesta online realizada en la provincia de Buenos Aires en 2021. Los datos muestran, por un lado, que la mayoría de los actores agrarios consultados no identifican la existencia de concentración en la propiedad de la tierra en su zona, aunque un grupo muy importante acuerda con diferentes formas de intervención estatal en pos de la democratización en su acceso. Por otro lado, que la posición en la estructura social, y principalmente, la postura política, son las variables con mayor influencia en las opiniones.

In the Pampean region of Argentina, the main agricultural production area of the country, there is a strong process of concentration in land use. This paper investigates the opinions of the agrarian subjects of this region on land ownership and state intervention in this matter based on an online survey carried out in the province of Buenos Aires in 2021. The data show, on the one hand, that most of the agrarian actors do not identify the existence of concentration of land ownership in their area, although a very important group agrees with different forms of state intervention in pursuit of the democratization of access to land. On the other hand, the position in the social structure, and mainly the political stance, are the variables with the greatest influence on the opinions.
