Una propuesta basada en simulación para la solución de congestión de tránsito en una intersección crítica del Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires

Abstract

En este estudio de simulación buscamos justificar la propuesta de modificación de la intersección entre la Autopista Riccheri y la Autopista Ezeiza-Cañuelas ante los atascos que se generan debido al diseño actual. Modificamos uno de los tramos de la intersección desde un diseño cloverleaf a un diseño stack, logrando reducir los tiempos medios en cruzarla en más de tres minutos así como reducir en más de un 90% la cantidad de vehículos afectados por demoras al cruzar la intersección.

In this simulation study, we aim to justify the proposed modification of the intersection between Autopista Riccheri and Autopista Ezeiza-Cañuelas, given the congestion caused by the current design. We have modified one of the sections of the intersection from a cloverleaf design to a stack design, reducing the average crossing time by more than three minutes and the number of vehicles affected by delays when crossing the intersection by more than 90%.
