The soil water dynamic is influenced by numerous factors, and its prediction is relevant for agricultural planning. Tillage systems, such as no-till (SD) and conventional tillage (LC), are among the main influencing factors. However, its effects on water dynamics are contradictory depending on the type of soil and productive history. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of SD and LC on some hydraulic properties and soil moisture dynamics in an Argiudol soil of the Pampas region, and to evaluate the quality of the modeling with HYDRUS 1D during a corn campaign. The trial was carried out in the Chascomús Integrated Experimental Farm, in plots under SD and LC with 17 years old. Moisture sensors were installed at 4 depths. Infiltration (q) and hydraulic conductivity were measured using a disc infiltrometer at three stresses (k0, k3 and k6), bulk density (DAP) and total porosity (%PT). Hydraulic parameters for HYDRUS 1D simulation were determined from the water retention curve of each treatment. The goodness of simulation was performed using RMSE and R2. SD showed significantly lower values of q, K0, K3 and K6. The DAP and the %PT were not affected by the tillage systems. The R2 was 0.68 and 0.57 for SD and LC, respectively, and the RMSE values were 0.09 and 0.18 mm, respectively for the 0-40 cm slice (mm).
