Inpatient areas are potential spaces for energy rehabilitation, which is explained by their demand for air conditioning and by their surface area. There has not been an in-depth study of inpatient areas at the network level, where their services may be contrasting in terms of energy consumption. The objective of this work is to develop a tool to survey the parameters that influence the energy performance of services in inpatient areas. By means of its application in a network of facilities, a diagnosis would be obtained to verify differences in consumption, both for their hygrothermal and aseptic requirements, as well as for the actual use in different hospitals. A form structured in six points (Presentation of the form, Data of the auditor and the institution, Inpatient Service, Air Conditioning, Equipment and Lighting, and Sanitary Hot Water) was elaborated. The result is a tool consisting of an online access form, which allows centralizing and managing responses, as well as facilitating an audit from a desktop or on the road. It is considered that, as it consists of thirty-three questions, it can be completed in one working day, which is positive for the user.
