Routine panoramic radiography is a fundamental diagnostic tool in dentistry, as it allows the detection not only of alterations related to orthodontic or surgical planning, but also of asymptomatic findings of clinical relevance. The present study aims to: (1) detect, through routine panoramic radiography, pathologies and anomalies that present as asymptomatic findings; (2) systematically visualize these alterations; and (3) quantify their frequency for epidemiological purposes. The aim is also to encourage the timely referral of patients with radiographic findings for appropriate treatment. The study is part of the need to integrate the preventive value of panoramic radiography into routine clinical practice.
