Abstract

En este escrito póstumo, el querido padre Barriola nos regala una profunda reflexión sobre la soledad sacerdotal. El reconocido biblista establece en la Eucaristía, el ministerio pastoral, la sana vivencia del celibato y la prioridad del apostolado, los pilares fundamentales para el sacerdote. En segundo término, el autor nos ayuda a ver el el fundamento bíblico paulino del celibato, analizando especialmente malas interpretaciones sobre estos textos que se han dado a lo largo de los años.

In this posthumous work, the beloved Father Barriola offers us a profound reflection on priestly solitude. The renowned biblical scholar identifies the Eucharist, pastoral ministry, a healthy experience of celibacy, and the priority of the apostolate as the fundamental pillars of the priest. Secondly, the author helps us see the Pauline biblical foundation of celibacy, paying particular attention to misinterpretations of these texts that have arisen over the years.
