Eirene, un deseo primordial

Abstract

El presente trabajo intenta rastrear el significado que se la ha dado a la palabra griega eirene a lo largo de la literatura y cómo se une con el shalom de la cultura judeo-cristiana, para finalmente arribar a una mayor comprensión del primer saludo de Cristo Resucitado: "la paz esté con ustedes" (Lc 24, 36; Jn 20, 19.21.26).

This paper seeks to trace the meaning attributed to the Greek word eirene throughout the literature and how it relates to the shalom of Judeo-Christian culture, with a view to ultimately gaining a deeper understanding of the Risen Christ’s first words: ‘Peace to you’ (Luke 24: 36; John 20: 19.21.26).
