Las huellas de la violencia y el narcotráfico en México: un análisis desde la perspectiva de la crónica periodístico-literaria

Abstract

La crónica periodística es un género que ha servido para contar la realidad latinoamericana desde diversos puntos de vista. Lejos de buscar la transitoriedad de los datos noticiosos y de intentar deslumbrar con primicias, este género pretende reconstruir con elementos literarios una realidad incomprensible, que muchas veces duele, pero que merece ser narrada, como es el caso de las marcas del narcotráfico y la violencia suscitada en México. En este contexto, lo que proponemos en el presente estudio es un trayecto histórico a partir de una mirada periodístico-literaria. Para ello analizamos tres textos de tres autores mexicanos: Alma Guillermoprieto, Juan Villoro y Alejandro Almazán. El recorrido que trazamos va desde los magnicidios (un cardenal y dos políticos) ocurridos en México entre 1994 y 1995, las influencias del narcotráfico en la sociedad y política de este país, y culmina con la desaparición forzada de 43 estudiantes en el estado de Guerrero en septiembre de 2014. Todo ello a partir de la impronta estilística y abordaje particular de los hechos que han realizado los cronistas señalados.

The journalistic chronicle is a genre that has served to tell the Latin American reality from different points of view. Far from seeking the transience of the news data and trying to dazzle with scoops, this genre seeks to reconstruct with literary elements an incomprehensible reality, which often hurts, but which deserves to be narrated, as is the case with the trademarks of drug trafficking and the violence provoked in Mexico. In this context, what we propose in this study is a historical journey from a journalistic-literary perspective. For this we analyze three texts by three Mexican authors: Alma Guillermoprieto, Juan Villoro and Alejandro Almazán. The route we take goes from the assassination (a cardinal and two politicians) that took place in Mexico between 1994 and 1995, the influence of drug trafficking on the society and politics of this country, and culminates in the enforced disappearance of 43 students in the state of Guerrero in September 2014. All this based on the stylistic imprint and particular approach of the facts that the chroniclers have made.
