Representaciones artísticas en el Chile de pos-golpe en "Purgatorio" (1979) de Raúl Zurita

Abstract

Este artículo se propone pensar el poemario Purgatorio (1979) de Raúl Zurita a partir de la poética de su autor como fruto de su participación en el Colectivo de Acciones de Arte (CADA). Pero, sobre todo, como sujeto interpelado por el golpe de estado en Chile. De este modo, su obra manifiesta el sentir colectivo a través de una individualidad marcada por su experiencia como detenido y torturado durante el período del régimen militar encabezado por Augusto Pinochet. Con este trabajo pretendemos encontrar un hilo que nos permita reconfigurar la memoria de ese pasado dictatorial a través de la fragmentación que fusiona lo lingüístico y lo extralingüístico dentro del proyecto estético de Zurita.

This article intends thinking about Raúl Zurita’s collection of poems, Purgatorio (1979), based on the poetics of the author as a result of his participation in the Colectivo de Acciones de Arte (CADA). But more important, as an individual questioned by the Chilean Junta Militar. As such, his work manifests collective feeling through an individuality marked by his experience of detainment and torture during the period of the military regime led by Augusto Pinochet. In this work we intend to find a thread that allows us to reconfigure the memory of that dictatorial past through the fragmentation that combines the linguistic and extralinguistic within the aesthetic project of Zurita.
