Estambul: una mirada desde el paisaje literario de Orhan Pamuk

Abstract

El artículo propone acercar una lectura diferente a la obra del premio Nobel Orhan Pamuk Estambul. <i>Ciudad y recuerdos</i>, escrita en el año 2003, desde una perspectiva geo-literaria y de la geografía cultural. Se busca contribuir con otras miradas al análisis de la realidad histórico-espacial, aportando otras lecturas que nos permitan pensar críticamente nuestro entorno atravesado por diferentes discursos que se espacializan en la obra. El objetivo del trabajo es indagar la obra literaria del autor para identificar a través del concepto de paisaje la transformación espacial del Bósforo y de la historia de Estambul.

The article aim was to make a different reading of Nobel prize Orhan Pamuk work Istambul. <i>City and Memories</i>, written in the year 2003, from a geoliterary and cultural geographic perspective. Other looks at the analysis of historical-spatial reality were intended, contributing to other readings which allow us to think our environment critically through different discourses spacialized in the text.The aim of this work was looking into the author’s literary work to identify, through the concept of landscape, the spacial transformation of the Bosphorous and of the history of Istambul.
