Un día a los tiros: acceso y confianza en una investigación sobre policías

Abstract

En este artículo reflexiono sobre las estrategias de acceso al trabajo de campo y la producción de vínculos de confianza con miembros de instituciones policiales, caracterizadas como opacas y de difícil acceso. Lo que intento aquí es revisar qué nos informan nuestros recorridos en el trabajo de campo sobre estas características de las fuerzas de seguridad y qué nos dicen sobre los modos en que accedemos al trabajo de campo. En este sentido, a partir de la experiencia de aprendizaje de tiro policial, indago sobre el tipo de información que se produce en situaciones como esta y sobre cómo habilitan para el tratamiento de temas previamente inaccesibles.

In this article I reflect on the strategies for access to field work and the production of bonds of trust with members of police institutions, characterized as opaque and difficult to access. I review what our tours in the field work tell us about these characteristics of the security forces and what they tell us about the ways in which we access the field work. In this sense, based on the experience of learning police shooting, I inquire about the type of information that is produced in situations like this and how they enable the treatment of previously inaccessible topics.
