Una aproximación sobre la investigación del patrimonio turístico de la región capital de la provincia de Buenos Aires

Abstract

En el artículo se evidencia una de las líneas de investigación desarrollada por el Instituto de Investigaciones en Turismo de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas (FCE) de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP) durante el período 2012-2015. Se aborda la temática de la identificación de recursos naturales y culturales de la región capital de la Provincia de Buenos Aires pasibles de ser activados como productos turísticos con condiciones de competitividad y sostenibilidad. Comenzando por un marco teórico que sustenta las investigaciones realizadas,se procede a la caracterización de la región para conocer las singularidades de los recursos y a partir de ello se muestra el desarrollo y los resultadosde losproyectos de investigación.

This paper trace a line of investigation carrie doutby the Instituto de Investigaciones en Turismo (hereinafter IIT) of the Faculty of Economics of the National University of La Plata during the period 2012-2015. The first project is set as an input of the second, addressing the issue of identification of natural and cultural resources of the capital region of theProvince of Buenos Aires, which presents characteristics to be activated as tourism products with conditions of competitiveness and sustainability. This paper is organised as follows. Introduction; a theoretical framework about the enhancement of natural and cultural resources of the region and its tourist use related to conditions of sustentability and competitiveness; a characterization of the region selected as a case study; finally, the main conclusions.
