Mujer, Raza y Clase

Abstract

El trabajo analiza, desde una perspectiva histórica, la interseccionalidad entre clase, raza y género. El escrito realiza una breve reconstrucción teórica de los conceptos en estudio y centra su mirada, principalmente, en la experiencia de lucha de mujeres negras por la reivindicación de sus derechos pero también la conflictividad que emerge desde la esclavitud hasta nuestro presente, del ser mujer, negra y pobre. En esta labor analítica se propone una lectura crítica y reflexiva a partir de la historización de este fenómeno a fin de comprender las sociedades contemporáneas.

The following article analyzes, from a historical perspective, the intersectionality between class, race and gender. The text makes a brief theoretical reconstruction of the central concepts and focuses on the experience of black women in the claim of their rights. However, it also ponders on the conflicts that emerge for being black, poor and a woman –from slavery times, to our present-. In this analytical work, we propose a critical line of thinking, based on the historization of this phenomenon in order to understand contemporany societies.
