Abstract

El siguiente artículo se propone indagar en la obra Selknam (yo/el otro), del argentino Juan Carlos Romero, haciendo especial hincapié en la participación del cuerpo del artista como dispositivo de enunciación. Entendiendo, en este sentido, que dicha producción plástica entreteje de manera dialógica los conceptos de presente- pasado, presencia-ausencia, cuerpo biológico-cuerpo social.

The following article aims to look into the work Selknam (self / other), a photoperformance made by the Argentinian artist Juan Carlos Romero, with particular emphasis on the participation of the body’s artist as a device of enunciation. We understand, in this sense, that the plastic production dialogically intertwined concepts such as present-past, presence-absence, biologicalbody-socialbody.
