Una psicología fragmentada y una visión hacia la integralidad

Abstract

Partiendo de una Psicología actual que se encuentra fragmentada, tenemos dos opciones, o seguir cada uno con su enfoque particular, o buscar una integración entre los diferentes enfoques y corrientes. En el marco de la nueva Ley de Salud Mental, la cual tiene una visión integral e interdisciplinaria, este trabajo se propone promover un enfoque integral basado en la teoría de Ken Wilber, el cual busca integrar las diferentes corrientes psicológicas, teniendo en cuenta su singularidad y al mismo tiempo creando puentes y conexiones entre ellas desde un enfoque más abarcativo que las tenga en cuenta como verdades parciales, creando una mayor posibilidad de diálogo entre psicólogos y sus respectivos paradigmas. Para esta finalidad, se propone el enfoque Integral de Ken Wilber partiendo desde los Tres Principios Fundamentales, los Cuatro Cuadrantes y la Concepción Holoárquica del mismo, conceptos fundamentales para una comprensión amplia, lo menor disociada posible de la Psicología, dando la posibilidad del desarrollo de cada corriente psicológica en particular y sus investigaciones, y al mismo tiempo dando la posibilidad de integrarlas todas estas en un enfoque más amplio.

Starting from present-day psychology which is fragmented, we are left with two options, whether following each particular focus or looking for an integration between the different psychological currents. Under the new Mental Health Law, which holds an integral and interdisciplinary vision, this work suggest promoting an integral focus based on Ken Wilber’s theory, which aims for the integration of the different psychological currents while keeping in mind their singularity and at the same time linking them together from a more comprehensive approach which takes them into account as partial truths, as a result, this increases the dialogue possibility between psychologists and their respective paradigms. For this purpose, Ken Wilbers integral approach is proposed, starting off the Three Fundamental Principles, the Four Quadrants and the Holarchic Appreciation of them, the fundamental concepts for a wider understanding, the least dissociated from psychology as possible, giving the possibility of developing each particular psychological current and their investigations while at the same time letting us integrate them from a wider focus.
