Historiografía, pueblos originarios y currículum escolar

Abstract

La historia oficial ha contribuido a subsumir el tratamiento de la temática indígena asociándola tradicionalmente con la frontera, la guerra y el malón, obturando el abordaje de otros procesos dinámicos y complejos que se gestaron en el marco de la relaciones entabladas entre la sociedad indígena y estatal. Esa forma de analizar el pasado condicionó durante mucho tiempo el tratamiento e inserción de esas tópicos en el currículum escolar. En este trabajo nos centramos en problematizar estas cuestiones poniéndolas en diálogo con el tratamiento de la cuestión indígena en el currículum escolar en el sistema preuniversitario (UNLP) en la actualidad. En esa línea se proponen temáticas para abordar en el aula, así como recursos didácticos variados que permitan optimizar el conocimiento de los pueblos originarios contribuyendo a reforzar su dimensión sociohistórica, visibilizando el merecido protagonismo que esos sujetos sociales tuvieron en los acontecimientos de la historia nacional.

The official history has contributed to subsume the treatment of indigenous issues traditionally associating it with the border, war and malon, blocking the approach of other dynamic and complex processes that were developed in the framework of the relations established between indigenous and state society . This way of analyzing the past conditioned, for a long time, the treatment and insertion of these topics in the school curriculum. In this paper we focus on problematizing these issues by putting them in dialogue with the treatment of the indigenous issue in the curriculum in the pre–university system (UNLP). In this line, themes are proposed to be addressed in the classroom, as well as varied didactic resources that allow to optimize the knowledge of the original peoples, contributing to reinforce their sociohistorical dimension, making visible the deserved protagonism that these social subjects had in the events of national history.
