Conversaciones no patrimoniales para desordenar el futuro

Abstract

El artículo que aquí se presenta es el resultado de conversaciones digitales entre un antropólogo y un semiólogo en tiempos de pandemia, condiciones de producción inéditas por la relación que puede existir con el tema mismo de este artículo ya que, en este contexto de barbijos y aislamiento, se renueva el vínculo entre la herencia y el futuro de la humanidad. En este sentido, las preguntas que surgen en este intercambio son apenas intentos para establecer algunos criterios con los cuales situar un discurso sobre el patrimonio que, a partir de considerar los alcances conceptuales de la imaginación y su práctica, logre desandar el camino que cierta cronología occidental había establecido para, de esta manera, abrir otras cosmovisiones, posibilidades no patrimoniales y nuevos modos de hacer el tiempo, la historia y la memoria. Operaciones estéticas de nuevas ciudadanías que entienden que el futuro puede no tener un horizonte tan preciso.

This article results of digital conversations between an anthropologist and a semiologist in pandemic times, unprecedented production conditions due to the relationship that may exist within the subject of this article itself, since in this context of chinstraps and isolations the link between inheritance and the future of humanity is renewed. In this sense, the questions that have been developed in this exchange were merely attempts to establish some criteria to situate a discourse on heritage that, based on considering the conceptual scope of the imagination and its practice, manages to retrace the path that certain Western chronology had established to, in this way, open other worldviews, nonpatrimonial possibilities and new ways of making time, history and memory. Aesthetic operations of new citizenships that understand that the future may not have such a precise horizon.
