Elogios para unos, reproches para otros: halago y crítica en la prensa campechana

Abstract

La política emprendida por el Partido Socialista Agrario de Campeche y la administración gubernamental de Ángel Castillo Lanz coincidió con el conflicto religioso en México y la guerra cristera, de 1926. Para entonces, la prensa local era abierta al mostrar su filiación partidista en sus reportajes, editoriales, fotografías y difusión de aquellos que detentaban la autoridad, como se muestra en el análisis del "Diario de Campeche", impreso que elogiaba al poderoso y criticaba al opositor.

The policy undertaken by the Campeche Agrarian Socialist Party, and the government administration of Ángel Castillo Lanz, coincided with the religious conflict in Mexico and the Cristero War of 1926. By then, the local press was open by showing their party affiliation in their reports, editorials, photographs and dissemination of those who held authority, as shown in the analysis of the "Diario de Campeche", a print that praised the powerful and criticized the opponent.
