Un recorrido sobre la potencia lógica del ‘no- todo’ a partir de 1972

Abstract

Siguiendo el recorrido de una investigación en curso nos proponemos abordar el recorrido lógico que puede trazarse a partir del Seminario 20 y del establecimiento allí del ‘no- todo’ como modo de nombrar la operatoria del lado femenino. A partir de ese año esta formulación será retomada por Lacan, depurando la lógica que supone en torno a una relocalización del falo y del saber. Así, la localización del goce femenino en torno al ‘no-todo’ delimita para el mismo un movimiento de efectuación hacia F y S(?). Y con esto, la apertura a un profundo cuestionamiento a la categoría de saber y la reconsideración de la categoría del falo, más allá de la dimensión significante. Por su parte, en ‘L’etourdit’, la potencia lógica del no-todo, se localizará en relación a cierto efecto de borde, al modo del litoral que se nombrará con el significante ‘confín’. Allí, parece positivizarse como modo Otro del infinito y del límite. Nos proponemos situar, entonces, algunos puntos de lectura que a partir de 1972 permiten delimitar el recorrido lógico que produjo la categoría de no todo. En este recorrido intentaremos cernir cómo esto afectó la consideración del goce a esta altura de la obra de Lacan.

Following the path of an ongoing investigation, we propose to address the logical path that can be traced from Seminar 20 and the establishment there of the ‘not-all’ as a way of naming the operation of the feminine side. As of that year, this formulation will be taken up by Lacan, purifying the logic that it supposes around a relocation of the phallus and of knowledge. Thus, the location of feminine jouissance around the ‘not-all’ delimits for it a movement of realization towards F and S(?). And with this, the opening to a profound questioning of the category of knowledge and the reconsideration of the category of the phallus, beyond the significant dimension. For its part, in ‘L’etourdit’, the logical power of the not-all will be located in relation to a certain edge effect, in the manner of the coastline that will be named with the signifier ‘boundary’. There, it seems to be positivized as an Other mode of infinity and limit. We intend to situate, then, some reading reading points that, starting in 1972, allow us to delimit the logical path that produced the category of not everything. In this tour we will try to sift how this affected the consideration of jouissance at this point in Lacan’s work.
