La protesta como estrategia para la acumulación de poder sindical

Abstract

Este artículo parte de la fractura de la CGT regional Córdoba en octubre del año 2000. El interés se encuentra en reconocer cuál fue la actitud que asumió cada división ante un contexto que presentó situaciones conflictivas semejantes. Específicamente, se busca analizar la práctica confrontativa a la que incurrieron las dos centrales y comprender los fines que la orientaron. Para ello se propone identificar sus acciones de protesta, distinguiendo y contrastando sus repertorios, la articulación con otros actores sociales y sus demandas en un periodo que comprende desde el año 2000 hasta el 2004. La hipótesis plantea que los puntos conflictivos fueron procesados de manera desigual por cada organización, mientras que una asumió un rol confrontativo la otra evitó realizar acciones de protesta. Se procurará examinar estas cuestiones desde una escala subnacional y en una clave histórica, recuperando la información brindada por la prensa comercial y por boletines sindicales informativos.

This article recovers the division of the regional CGT of Córdoba in October 2000. The interest is in recognizing what the attitude was assumed by each division in a context that presented similar conflictive situations. Specifically, it seeks to analyze the contentious practice in which the two centrals incurred and to understand the purposes that guided it. For this, it is proposed to identify their protest actions, distinguishing and contrasting their repertoires, the articulation with other social actors and their demands in a period that ranges from 2000 to 2004. An attempt will be made to examine these issues from a sub-national perspective and from a historical point of view, recovering the information provided by the trade press and union bulletins.
