Misterio y enigma, líneas de lectura para amor y el goce en el Seminario XX

Abstract

En un seminario que comenzaba anunciando iba a desplegar una alocución sobre el goce y el amor, Lacan termina en el último encuentro confesando que de lo que se trató fue del saber, y de su relación con el Uno. ¿Cómo se produjo la torsión entre aquello que en las primeras clases se articula de la fórmula ‘gozar del cuerpo del Otro no es signo de amor’ y ‘el amor es signo de un cambio de discurso’, al cierre del seminario dónde establece que el inconsciente es una elucubración en torno a lalengua? Se situó allí que hay un goce en torno al saber y que el modo de lazo entre s1 y s2 resulta, al menos, misterioso ¿o deberíamos decir, enigmático? En todo caso no hay entre ellos un vínculo evidente. Nos proponemos, entonces, situar el movimiento que se realiza en el texto utilizando como claves de lectura dos formas de la falta que se aluden allí: el enigma y el misterio. Donde el deseo del otro se presenta como un enigma, y como tal admite solución, la dimensión fálica remite a los misterios y por tanto hace presente ¿la creencia?

In any case, there is no obvious link between them. We propose, then, to locate the movement that takes place in the text using as keys to reading two forms of the lack that are alluded to there: the enigma and the mystery. Where the desire of the other is presented as an enigma, and as such admits a solution, the phallic dimension refers to the mysteries and therefore makes belief present?
