El manifiesto artístico en Latinoamérica

Abstract

Los manifiestos han establecido su propia retórica, han fragmentado sus universos de sentido, fundaron nuevos conceptos o reformularon categorías existentes y se diferenciaron por el temperamento de su discurso, capturando así el carácter de un artista o grupo de ellos. El manifiesto como una suerte de declaración de principios artísticos, políticos y literarios, adquiere con el correr del tiempo el carácter de discurso. Por tal razón, detenernos en el arte de América Latina resolverá muchas cuestiones y tensiones propias del modernismo en estas latitudes

Manifestoes have established their own rhetoric, fragmented their sense backgrounds, developed new concepts or reformulated already existing ones, and they have differentiated among themselves by their discourse character, thus capturing the characteristics of an artist or group of artists. As a form of a declaration of artistic, political and literary principles, the manifesto has acquired the nature of a type of discourse as time has passed. Therefore, to focus on LatinAmerican art will solve many issues and opposing views of modernism at these latitudes
