dc.description.abstract The authors present a statistical review of the cases on the treatment of fractures of the neck of the femur, treated by closed method. They describe graphycally the results obtained which are little promising, when only continued extension was applied in tiirm bed, and the extremity in abduction, and internal rotation. It is revealed that the results attained by Whitman’s method are better than those of the former method. They also, point out the inconveniences of Whitman’s method. en
